Oh yes, the BEACH. I remember all too well the warm summer sun and the island pace. Gotta love the Island Pace! Anyway, I'm ready and willing to try stick my feet in the lake. I think if I wear all of my knitted feet items, I'll be warm enough for a couple of seconds. And, I really think that what G-ma Beck wants for Christmas is to winterize the cabin for us. A nice wood stove would work well. I'd definitely give it a try! We could snowshoe and knit, snowshoe and knit etc. Thanks for all your blogging CB. I'm really on to this stuff now (gasp, choke, strike dead because of lying). Love ya all,
AJ

I also remember the beach! I think that if we do a winter island trip we do not snowshoe, takes away from knitting. Maybe just a walk around the cabin outside so that we can get a little bit of fresh air. The hardest part is getting to the cabin. Maybe we can find a closer cabin to use once in a while in the winter.
The beach. Really, I think we should start planning. Something to look forward to. Sunshine, yarn, peace and quiet, plus working plumbing. Sounds like a plan to me. ASJ, I will come over and help you get set up if you like . . . I don't mind at all. Later . . .
I think we should start planning too. The island is only a few short months away. I saw on the Today show (I was concious this morning and watched it!) That it is healthy and important for women to get away together. We need time with girlfriends. A time to relax and just be ourselves with no responsibility. A doctor said so, so we to the Island we must go.
